Multi-Gas Analyzers

Open Path and Fenceline Analyzers
Survey Site Emissions, Perimeter Leak Detection, Detection of Ambient Gas Levels
Cerex open path analyzers use spectroscopy technology to detect compounds in the open air over hundreds of meters. For decades, the UV Sentry (using UV-DOAS technology) and the Air Sentry FTIR (using FTIR technology) have helped government, industry, and communities monitor fugitive emissions with reliability, accuracy, and extreme sensitivity.
- Suited for air toxics, hazardous air pollutants, combustion gases, alkanes, VOC’s, and hydrocarbons
- Gapless coverage over distances up to 1km
- Down to parts per trillion (ppt) minimum detection levels
- Can be configured to monitor stack emissions where traditional systems are not feasible
- Compliance with US EPA 40 CFR § 63.658 / Method 325 A/B, SCAQMD Rule 1180, BAAQMD Refinery Regulation 12 Rule 15, USEPA TO-16, RCER-2020

Portable Point Analyzers
Local Area Sampling and Point Leak Detection
Cerex portable point analyzers intake surrounding air via a sample port. Spectroscopy technology inside the analyzer then identifies ambient gases within the sample and determines the concentration in real-time. The UV Hound, Shepherd FTIR, and Cerex FTIR have helped emergency personnel, hospitals, government agencies, and others quickly determine the toxicity and safety of their environments.
- Suited for waste anesthetic gases (WAG), chemical warfare agents (CWAs), toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), in addition to air toxics, hazardous air pollutants, combustion gases, alkanes, VOC’s, and hydrocarbons
- Lightweight and portable by hand or wheels
- Down to parts per billion (ppb) minimum detection levels
- Can be used in fenceline applications to supplement open path gas systems

Sample Conditioner
ETG permeation sample conditioning systems are designed to prepare hot gas sample streams for high flow, high performance gas monitoring applications.
The ETG permeation system will remove particulates, mists & water vapor from a gas stream without the loss of analyte gasses.

0.33m Gas Probe
Use this hand held gas probe to pinpoint the source of a leak or submerse the probe to determine exhaust gas concentrations.

1.0m Gas Probe
For applications requiring lower detection limits, the 1.0m Gas Probe is the preferred choice. Its longer path length coupled with its small size produces detections in the most confining spaces.

Mini Retroreflector
Use this mini-retroreflector to help align and calibrate an open-path system or for general experimentation.

Corner Cube Array
Cerex supplies portable corner cube arrays with 7, 30, and 60 elements. For long distance applications 90 and 120 element arrays are available for permanent installations. Arrays can have IR or UV coatings.
Large Flat Mirrors
Cerex supplies large flat mirrors for guiding open-path beams through multiple rooms. These mirrors can be coated for UV or IR use.
Transfer Optics
Cerex provides custom fabrication of transfer optics for your specific application.
Gas Cells

QA Cell

Linear Cells
Cerex offers custom length linear cells for gas sampling. The cells can be fiber coupled or windowed for your application. We offer cell bodies made from glass, aluminum, or stainless steel.
Multi-Pass Cells
Cerex offers multi-pass cells with 1m, 2m, 2.5m, 5m, 10m, 20m, and 30m path lengths for use with UV or IR. The cells can be fiber coupled or combined with transfer optics to mate to an existing system. We offer cell bodies made from glass or stainless steel.
Software and Technology
Within the broad landscape of gas detection methodologies, Cerex's technology uses optical techniques to measure gas phase compounds
Continuous Monitoring Software (CMS)
Cerex analyzers use Continuous Monitoring Software (CMS) for analytical and data logging functions as well as to provide a user interface for the analyzer.
Running in the familiar Windows® operating system, CMS file storage architecture and controls are as intuitive as operating a personal computer.
